Get Involved!

PAC Membership is open to anyone in the community who is interested in helping out!

If you are interested in helping us continue to improve our parks - please consider signing up to be made an official member of our PAC and be included in our email list. To join all you need to do is:

I. Download and fill out the "Advisory Council Membership Application" below.

Please fill out ONE application PER HOUSEHOLD MEMBER who is interested in joining

II. Email the signed form to BuenaCircleChallengerPAC@gmail.com and CC our Secretary Nicole Edelman at NEDELMA1@depaul.edu 

What if I don't want to come to Board or Committee Meetings? Can I still be kept up to date on PAC events?

YES! Filling out the PAC Membership Application does not obligate you to anything. It allows us to register you as a member of our PAC and sign you up for emails. Should you be interested in getting more involved you are always able to at anytime - but there is no obligation

What if I want to join a committee but not go to larger PAC meetings? Or just support specific volunteer events?

That is totally okay! We will take any and all volunteers we can get. Just keep an eye out for any volunteer events you are interested in and stay in touch with committee leadership for those committees you are joining

What does it take to be a "Member in Good Standing" with the PAC?

To be a "Member in Good Standing" just means that you are active enough in the PAC that you have the ability to vote in PAC elections. All you need to do to be a Member in Good Standing is to:

• Complete PAC Member Application 

• Attend at least 2 public meetings per calendar year that are not a voting meeting for Officers, and either 

(a) Engage in constructive participation at regularly scheduled meetings, and/or 

(b) Serve on a committee or participating in Council sponsored events, and/or 

(c) Other actions deemed supportive and approved by Officers 

How do I get involved with a specific committee?

If you are unable to find committee meeting date/time information on the Home page - please reach out to BuenaCircleChallengerPAC@gmail.com with your completed membership application and let us know what committee you'd like to get involved with. We will help you get connected!
